New Moon In April Gives You the Confidence Boost You Need

It’s hard to keep track sometimes of the moon cycles. I am always checking the web to find out when is the next new moon and the next full moon. It takes place on the 5th in the sign of Aries. This is good news for all of us and a much needed fresh start to spring!

The next new moon in Aries

If you are an Aries or know anything about the sign of Aries these guys mean business. Some of their positive traits include these:

• full of self confidence

Yes they have negative traits too. These include:

• they can be arrogant
• stubborn
• confrontational

So keep these in mind as we talk about the energies of the new moon in April. 

We all need a confidence boost

First of all, let’s thank Aries for giving us this much needed confidence boost right now. We are a quarter of the way through the year and some of us haven’t quite achieved our goals or feel like we are ‘failing’. I really hate to use that ‘f’ word but that’s the truth. 

Some of us might not be on track to reach our goals or we feel we are way off track. 

Don’t worry about all that right now. It’s time to pull up your big girl/boy panties and focus again. Get back on track to reaching your goals. It’s not too late. At all. 

Remember the negative traits of Aries? One of them is stubborn. This could be good or bad. You can be stubborn in reaching your goals and not backing down OR you can be stubborn and not listen to anyone else who is offering other ideas and suggestions to you. 

My way or the highway isn’t always the best way.

So what about this next new moon?

Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and happens to fall in the spring season. Let’s think about that for one second. Spring is usually a time to clean things up, start new projects, plant things…you get the idea. 

It’s all about new starts with optimism. Faith. Hope. We don’t start things because we think they are going to fail. We start them because we have hope that they will do well and prosper. 

This moon is full of wishes, dreams, hopes and setting goals. It is also full of confidence and gives us the confidence boost we all need right now. 

If you’ve been feeling out of sorts with yourself and projects, this moon is speaking to you, loud and clear. Take advantage of the energies. 

What are we to do?

This is a great time to harness the energy of this moon. Don’t think I’m crazy, I’m not, really, ok I am a little but this is real stuff. The moons have great energies and powers. Why do you think farmers plant their crops during these phases? 

Remember this is an Aries sign moon. Be brave and courageous. Embrace some independence and bravery. It’s your time to water all the seeds you’ve been planting and have unshakable faith that your plants will grow. 

They will grow. Be courageous and fierce!

Be positive and optimistic. But don’t forget that sometimes we can’t do things alone, as much as an Aries think they can. Sometimes we need help and it’s ok to ask for it. Other people may have fantastic ideas too. Collaboration is beautiful. 

New moon rituals

You know I love rituals and it’s certainly not hocus pocus. Remember, the moons have energies! we need to harness these energies. 

The energy lasts up to two weeks after the initial date. That means that any intention you set out will keep working for you for two weeks. It also means that if you didn’t get a chance to set your intentions the night of, you have up to 14 days to do it. 

Keep in mind though, the energies are strongest the first few days.

This is a time to get stuff done. This is a time to forge ahead fiercely and bravely. This confidence boost from the Aries moon is what we all need right now, especially after Mercury Retrograde kicked most of us in the butt last month, amirite?
